Southeast bike Expo was my first show experience. Caught a some windburn, sunburn, major compliments on the frames and gained a new customer. Good first experience! Had numerous people who have been to NAHBS tell me that I need to go. C'mon NAHBS, southeast next year please!!
Loaded up at 6am.

Repainted my roadbike Tuesday before the show Just in case Shane coudn't bring his showstopper! There was a lot of "carbon" but these steel handmade bikes were the talk for both days. Even the Niner guys next door spents over 30min looking at the details. Shane's road bike weight of 15lbs created a huge buzz!

@02136 this week...
Titanium Road #1:
Titanium Road #2:
Titanium Road #3:
A mechanical and electrical drivetrain transition bike.
Special Refinish of Firefly #1:
This is FF000, the first bike we made.
Last year we completed it the on March 4th, and the very next day Kevin started the 5-day, Tim Johnson's Ride On Washington from Boston to DC.
We're a little more prepared this year and have it refinished and ready to go two weeks before this year's Ride On Washington.
The ride raises money for Bikes Belong.
Like last year, we're donating a frameset to the ride's raffle. Every $50 donated goes straight to Bikes Belong and gives you a chance to win a custom Firefly, like this one. For anyone interested, you can donate here: https://www.pledgereg.com/27064.
Cheers to all!
Some really cool stuff coming up soon... I really don't know where we find the time. But we do.

Spent the first half of my week milling slots in ballast plates for mounting night vision goggles on ballistic helmets, and the second half filing fillets on frames.
But I did get one back from paint:
