Just so you know, as is probably the case with a lot of your clients, I bought one of your bikes and am considering a second because, in this order: 1) I wanted a great riding bike; and 2) I appreciate and feel at home with the ethic behind your company & design values as expressed (among other places) in your note re: NAHBS.

I hardly have a picture of an aluminum Omnidrome!

We'll have detailed shots of one soon. It is the same basic shape as the Aerotack but obviously in geometry and a carbon lay-up suitable for the event and track it is designed for.

Hi Adriano:
The pictured Ultraline is my bike and I used the dumb 44mm head tube so I could directly compare the ride quality of my steel MAX fork, to my tapered carbon fork, to the Pegoretti Falz fork without building two bikes. I don't think it looks terrible with the steel fork because those blades are pretty robust- but my conclusion for this bike is that the Falz fork and the steel fork best compliment the Ultraline and we're doing 1 1/8th headsets for these things going forward. Great question!

Hi Bob:

The Interclub is made out of a 6000 series aluminum while the Corsa was built out of a 7000 series tubeset. The new tubing requires a more complicated heat treatment process but does allow us to bring the weight down a bit and I think it also makes the bike ride even better. I can also offer internal cable routing with the new tubing- and I've changed the shape of the down tube slightly so that the miter/cope angle is better when using a 68mm threaded bottom bracket shell. I also designed a new drop out that I think is much nicer than the old ones we were using. Quick releases can be oriented properly, the hanger is a lot stiffer and identical in shape to the most common Trek hanger, and there is more real estate to weld to which makes the rear end a bit stiffer.

If I were to build you two geometrically identical bikes- but one was a Corsa and one was an Interclub, the latter would be 100-200 grams lighter and a touch more torsionally rigid. I'm also using my own fork now- which makes the bike feel alot more planted when you're driving hard into a corner compared to the Enve I was using before. I think it does a better job at handling hitting a cobblestone at race speed too.

The Interclub is an evolution of the Corsa but enough changed that I felt it warranted a new model name.
