Default Mr. Katayama Dies at 105

IF you grew up in the sixties and had any interest in cars at all, even just Matchbox & Hot Wheels, then you would know Mr. Katayama's work. He didn't design these cars, but as head of Datsun USA, he sold them. Lots of them.

I nearly bought one of each at various times in my life. Instead I bought a 1966 VW Beetle. And a 1968 Chevy Nova (stock old lady version.) Still would like to have either the 510 or the 240Z.

The 240 is one of the coolest cars ever in my opinion.

I had a 510 wagon that was a complete hoot to drive! Don't know how we never flipped it!
