This one seems to be the D90, unlike the 110 seen on the Bond movie lot. Possible the 90 is the only version that has a removable roof?? Another week to find out I guess.

Kudos to agency responsible for the “pre-launch” campaign. Not super-subtle.

Lots of detailed pics are all over the internets today. Still think they completely missed the mark.
That c-pillar seems random -- looks like a window build sheet sticker they forgot to take down?
Do you want saddlebags for your new Defender?

Pretty much how the new mini looked after decades of seeing Alec Issigonis's original mini in the streets. It was completely off, both from an aesthetic and scale point of view.

At least this one got the scale right.

I cannot envision the practical use for exterior "saddlebags" on a vehicle that is not a firetruck or similar.
The unusual wide c-pillars are not my cup of tea, yet perhaps their focus groups indicated people like them?

The new 90 is up my alley. And it looks like the weird C pillar is removable/optional. Looks far better without.

    But not on the side......

Maybe a trailer hitch attachment. I can't see that ever making a vehicle wider is a good idea. Longer has it's on challenges but wider seems to invite real trouble.

If it's any consolation, the word on the ADV forum (where I originally saw it) is that the riders weren't seriously injured.

Nevertheless, not a fun day on the road.

I suggest a Jerr-Dan 6ton XLP, just thing for Land Rover owner meetups.
