I remember seeing what I considered a boatload of Tritons when I lived in England in the 70s. The Norton frames were modded to hold a variety of engines, some good others not so much. State of the art in the day.

Triton. Norbsa. Tribsa. Norley. Norial. Norvin. They've all seen some time on the road at one point or another. But the Triton was always the hot setup.

have I mentioned I picked up some CycleCat bar risers for the Duc right before it got cold?

I don't particularly need higher, but a bit farther back would be OK

Like a hole in the head I need this. Two holes maybe. No place in the city for it. Still haven't learned how to ride. Oy. Must be second childhood or something.
That is the only scooter in the entire galaxy that would tempt me to ride again. It is perfection.

Got the fixie out yesterday mid-day after Worlds, then went out on the Ducati for a little toodle.

Lots of wet areas and sand on the road, so I wasn't 'riding' per se, but still got out and had a fun little spin

    Nice earplugs, bro.

Been 50d and 54d last two days in NY. What does that mean? Yeah, it means the snow blower and the motorcycle swapped spots in the garage, and I went for a couple rides. Woo!

I have a line on an 06 BMW R1150GS-Adventure (the special edition in white and blue). Low miles. Lots of farkles. Buddy of mine has ankle/foot issues and wants to sell.

Need to sell the ST3 to afford it tho. :cry

    It's funny.

I had been using a pair of Etymotic noise reduction ear plugs. Got tired of the handles getting bumped and coming out of my ears every time I put on my helmet.

Ordered these and couldn't be happier. No I just stuff all my moto clothes pockets with them and I don't really mind loosing them either.

Ok. Just got my Street Triple from the dealer after some warranty brake work.

While it was there I ponied up for some OEM heated grips. Rode this morning to work with my summer gloves on at the lowest setting.

Absolutely a must have accessory for year round riders.

First track day is 1 month away. Getting pumped.

Going to test ride one next weekend.

I've sat on one, started it up but that's it so far.

They are very, very well executed and I'd say worth every dollar they are asking if that's the segment of bike you're after.

I mean this is all business right here. Very well executed.

I don't think it solves anything that I can't already address with my ZRX. Big plus for me is that the ZRX is paid for. Although I have off street and pretty secure parking, it is still outside, so that's a pretty big strike for me against a fairly expensive new bike. That, and general lack of money for that.

Rode the ZRX this morning. Despite being 17 years old and 38k miles, it still goes and is fun to ride. Makes the proper sounds when the loud handle is turned.

I have yet to ride a moto that doesn't bring a smile at the end of a ride.

Heated grips plus air deflectors (if you don't already have a fairing that covers the hands) is BY FAR the ticket for year-round riding.

Nah, it's got sweet Leo-Vince pipes on it already, so a new exhaust is not really something I'm looking to buy.
The 2->1 exhaust is supposed to help with the low rpm surging right?

Maybe not applicable, but the low RPM manners on the SV650 (2nd gen) were an issue with the throttle position sensor. Doing a TPS mod (adjustment, really) made the fuel injection kick in at idle rather than the factory set... whatever it was (1500 rpm or so, if I remember right). Calmed things down a whole lot in the low-speed maneuvers.

Its supposed to help with where the power hits in the rev range.

I don't have a 9x0 bike, so I'm repeating what some of the more 'enthusiastic' ADVRiders have done
