Eddie's "do you have a flag?" bit is timeless. As is the Death Star cafeteria ...

I found this article on Maria Bamford's process interesting. I enjoy her interviews with Marc Maron but I'm not familiar with her routines.

He was on Rogan...I only knew him from standup, but I highly recommend everyone listen to that podcast. He's a badass too, he ran 43 marathons in 51 days. BEAST!!

OMG! I never knew that factoid about Eddie Izzard.
    What a remarkable find, @dgaddis. I'm stunned.

Eddie has done several multiple marathons over the years - for charity - and can also do stand up comedy in French.

OMG. As a somewhat new dad this is one of the funniest conversations I've heard.

Background - Tom and Bert are both standup comedians, both hillarious, and they do this podcast together every so often.

Skip ahead to 29:55 to get right at the bit ::

    HEADPHONES!

Also, both of these idiots just filmed a special for Netflix, looking forward to them coming out in the near future!

    Here's another fun story.

Joey Diaz is hilarious on podcasts, but his standup I've seen I just didn't find quite as funny. But he's lived a crazy life - used to sell drugs, went to jail for kidnapping somebody, all kinds of craziness. When he tells a story I can't tell if it's true or if it's just something he made up....it could go either way.

Again, headphones! And be warned that this gets real rowdy a few minutes in LOL.

    @ 29:55

I heard this from a doctor friend who likened it to dogs getting a pink thing when playing with puppies.

All I can say is previous generations of parents must have gone totally berserk at this.

I love Maria Bamford. Her gumbo of absurity, mental illness and utter sincerity is intoxicating.

Start with Lady Dynamite, which is almost accessible, and then dip into her standup. Work your way back in time towards the bits she recorded as she was recovering from her hospitalization.

She is absolutely an acquired taste, and absolutely a taste worth acquiring.

    GO!

This guy is about to film a special for Amazon. A few years ago he was trying to sell a special and no one would buy one. SO, he said "eff it, I'll just do it all myself", shot and edited and posted a bunch of clips to YouTube and now he sells out theaters everywhere he goes. His YouTube channel is worth a browse if you like cringe worthy, outrageous, and offensive comedy and great crowd work. Anyhow, his upcoming special should be a lot of fun.

One of the funniest YouTube comments I've seen was something along the lines of "the most dangerous place in America is the front row of an Andrew Schulz show".

Nearly four hours of Dave Chappelle just chatting and joking with a small crowd, filmed in 2009.

    GOAT.

Mark Norman is one my new favorite comedians. So awkward and funny and quick witted. Rogan just put up a new episode with him.

A wild story from his first time on Rogan. This is the sort of childhood that produces a comedian...LOL...
