Right on. It is a very generous roll. I'm working on getting this made with no adhesive.

I did my road bike (with the figure 8 around the shifters) and had enough left over to wrap my track bike. Unfortunately, I removed all the adhesive backing from one of the rolls when doing the installation on my road bike and it tore when I unwrapped the left over tape. As long as you just remove the adhesive backing as you go, you should be fine.

Generous for sure, but I think it's at its best when wrapped nice and fat, which doesn't leave much room for bonus wrapping. Which reminds me...when are you getting another batch? I have at least 2 bikes wrapped with garbage right now and need some more.

If you get on it I've got 8 rolls left from the Philly show and hoping to have another 50 rolls in three weeks.

I'll get off the fence and order some tape. I've got that new Chorus group just staring at me on the garage shelf and a Gulf Racing color Pegoretti has to have black tape. I'm going to replace the group in time to ride it on new years day.

Wow. Good eyes Corso. I love that he appears to have a very complete shelf of current products. If they REALLY do test this for longest lasting / lowest friction NFS will do very very well. Adding environmental factors to lab testing is complicated and expensive. I'm interested to learn more about their process. FWIIW I've much respect for Jason as a scientist.

*** NOTE *** NFS Black bar tape in Soto Voce' is in. I've got 50 rolls. Giddyup.

I was cruising the Silca site and found this. I hadn't heard about it before and it could definitely come in handy. Is there any other use it would be good for?

Any other great products in the NFS pipeline?

Good catch. This is exactly why I love working with Silca. They make me look better than in real life ;)
The process for nailing the exact shade of red was fun. If you consider that most dyes appropriate for this method are measured in doses that literally fit on the head of a pin for multiple gallons you get the picture. I LOVE challenges like this and turning them into logical exercises. Anywho, yeah that's great stuff and will condition the leather and pretty much never go away due to evaporation or oxidation AND it will perform the same thru a huge temperature range down to -30F.

New stuff? I've been working on a framesaver for THREE freaking years for Dario and it's not done yet. To create something that is non-toxic, legal to ship anywhere and works as well on chemically clean metal as it does on metal that has been fluxed/brazed and dipped in a bath...is a huge challenge.

What else??? I've only just got to find the time to finish my embrocation and send it to a cosmetics lab for trial runs. This is 15 years in the making!!! Based on a formula I created ages ago to treat people who had deeply infected nail beds (fungus) using CO2 extraction Tea Tree Oil. The formula is entirely made from plant materials, 100% hypo-allergenic and is designed such that it will pass thru the first few layers of cornified skin without the aide of horrifying things like menthol or Camphor or DMSO etc. which arguably are safe but still considered "bad actors" in some arenas blah blah blah. Anywho. The "embro" therapeutic in mine would be organics commonly used in aromatherapy and considered safe for direct skin contact.

In the meantime I'm waiting for a call from YAWEH offering to buy NFS(tm) for a billion dollars so I can buy a class A motorcoach and visit everyone.

A Class A befitting your stature would have a difficult time with a lot of our roads here so just tell your pilot to input the coordinates on the GPS to our airport. I'll pick you up.

Postscript; hire Saab2000 as your personal pilot. He'd spec a plane that can carry your bikes.

Your posse can bring the motos, extra bicycles and kite boards down in your fleet of expedition vehicles.

If you have been watching the news lately I would not be getting into any Russian made military aircraft.

    Doin' my best.

Since my business model is the world's worst what if I were to offer a BOGO for current customers? Would that be a good incentive to stock up and give the gift of chainlife to others?

I had to order a bottle last week as you can see that my mechanic has been too liberal with the application...

Another shout-out for NFS lube from down here in Mexico. We just bought a new (to us) house that has two large double gates made of iron. Being right on the coast, salt air and humidity work their nefarious ways on hinges, pivot points and sliding latches. 10 minutes worth of work applying NFS strategically allowed the gates to operate effortlessly and sounding like the breeze through a birds wings.

Not to mention that our bikes are still being quiet and their chains are still in fine shape after several years here. ¡NFS es el más mejor!
