Hello everybody, I whish to inform You that my good friend Dario Pegoretti accepted to lead a workshop on Framebuilding at the Design faculty of the San Marino University.
The workshop intends to offer theoretical and practical skills finalized towards the construction, across every phase of the design process, of a tubular frame functional to cycling (a bicycle frame), with particular attention to aesthetic, technological, functional, economic and environmental factors.
The workshop will be held in San Marino – in the historic city centre – in the spaces assigned by the Università degli Studi della Repubblica di San Marino and will last 5 working days, from Monday 8 July to Friday 12 July; the conclusion of the workshop, with the exhibition of the work accomplished during the workshops, is scheduled for Saturday 13 July 2013.
The workshop is open to 15 participants divided as follows:
o 10 students from the Industrial Design Programme selected with an in-house call for participation, who will attend free of charge;
o 5 independent participants who will participate upon payment of a registration fee in the amount of 1,000 € each (one thousand Euro).
In return for the registration fee, the paying participants will be able to keep the frame developed by their respective teams at the end of the workshop.
In order to be considered for the selection, paying participants are asked to submit their complete curriculum vitae including personal information for an evaluation of their qualifications, and a short letter of motivation.
Candidates must submit their applications by e-mail to the following address: disegnoindustriale@unirsm.sm on or before 24 June 2013 at 12:00 noon.

Been following these frames on your facebook page. All your frame ciavette paint schemes look great, but I particularly love the ones you do over dark colors like blue, grey and black.

I have a MxxxxxO coming from you at some point soon and can't wait to see what I end up with!
