Seatclamp Torque for XCR seat tube and Eriksen Ti Post
Hi Folks,
I’ve got a frame with an XCR seat tube with a 27.2 Eriksen Sweetpost including a plastic shim.
I’m getting regular slippage. Just wondering what a safe/appropriate torque for the clamp bolt would be?
Any other suggestions to stop the movement over bumpy Scottish roads?

Yeah, I've pasted it already... no joy.

You might try swapping the shim before over-torquing. Cane Creek makes some really nice aluminum ones, and USE has some pretty swell plastic versions.

I had to do this with my steel Gaulzetti. The 3T post would slip no matter what with the original shim. I pulled that out and replaced it with a Cane Creek shim and the problem went away immediately.
