This is actually really good. Lance is a lot more self aware than I had figured.

This guy strikes me as being one of those people who's so smart he often has trouble communicating his thoughts with the rest of us dummies.

I don't think it has been brought up so I will say the Dirty John podcast is definitely bingeworthy. We blew through the entire thing on one drive.
Lately I’ve been in short burst mode. Song Exploder, Zig Zag, and The Allusionist are good for that. Waiting for Dan Carlin’s part 2 opus on Japan.
This Is Actually Happening is fantastic. Lots of outrageous stories from real people, all true. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes dark.
Not a podcast but a vlog. I love this guy and his content. Just a mellow fellow riding his bike in NorCal.

i think most of them are boring as hell, and the voice matters a lot. Joe Rogan is not boring, and often makes a good podcast. I also like Ezra Kline because his guests are clever and he does well in asking questions. most other people have a voice i cannot stand. not just the sound, but sometimes the delivery or word choice ro message. i guess thats part of being a person who doesn't really like to hear other people talk, since they usually have nothing to say. small talk bores me to no end. and stories i would rather read in my own voice. good luck finding something you like
Sean Carroll’s “Mindscape” podcast is really good. He knows how to break down complicated subjects and guides the conversations really well. Interesting guests on a variety of topics.
It's been a while for this thread and some of you might enjoy the gent cycling WW1 battle field areas.

I remember back when I listened to almost all the podcasts I could find. Now there is so much I can't even get through everything in my cue.
If anyone listens to Science Friday you can get a link to the feed where each segment is it's own podcast. It makes it really easy to select the segments you want to hear and delete the rest.
Here's a couple that I've been binging:
Work Life with Adam Grant - really interesting podcast from a UPENN professor on "how to make work not suck." Super well done.
Magnus Archives - fictional pseudo-horror podcast. I can't possibly come up with a description that will do it justice, so I'll just say that my wife (who doesn't like horror) got hooked on this one very quickly.
Burned through all episodes of this one on Sunday. Extremely disturbing but I couldn't stop.
New Podcast Explores Black Dahlia Murder - Rolling Stone
I'm a sucker for articles and books about cons and scams, so it's only natural that I'd fall for "The Dream", about MLMs and Ponzi schemes:
