If you don't get the MT you might as well get a Tesla. It's for CA anyway so that would be a better choice. I won't drive it cross country for you, though, because I don't have time to stop every 3 hours to charge it.

Stereo in mine has been dead for 15 years. Couple times a year I push the power button to see if it has healed itself.
After driving the PDK in Sport+ mode I would not want anything "sportier" than that. Having been raised on MT though I would want to try one of these but good luck finding one for a test drive.
As for Tesla I have driven the latest/greatest, now way in hell I would be buying one of these.
L., rennlist.com and 6speedonline.com are some of most reliable forums for these questions.

They give you all those customization options because many owners want a unique car and are willing to pay for it
I bought my Boxster S knowing exactly what I wanted (Crmen Red Exterior w Tan leather interior, 6 speed, bigger rubber & Cruise control to keep me out of trouble) Having the dealer find one for me and then negotiating from there Worked like a charm
There is no substitute

I bought a 2016 911 GTS with PDK. It's just an amazing driving car. I did test drive a 2S with the manager al transmission and thought it was the absolute best shifting manual I have ever touched. PDK car won out though due to color and options.
Rhodium silver with sport design pkg, glass sunroof, sport chrono, sport exhaust.
Craig, you should check out this Cayman: 2 8 Porsche Cayman S Apparently, the interior is in "emasculate" condition, but the rest of the car sounds pretty nice - lots of recent work.
Lionel, to Matt's point about Tesla, you could wait another generation (992?) and probably get an e-911.
Not when they were taking them out to The Bridge.
