Yes I do, happy to supply complete bikes or some parts if the client is sourcing. All the international orders are frame sets as the cubic of shipping a bike is not worth the gold coin
Re: Paul's Llewellyn Cadenzia is leaving
Very neat, especially the finishing of the bar tape, is it rolled with some thin braid?
Personally I don't dig the Hope headset and topcap here, it spoils the grace of that stem. But I guess the owner is happy :noworry:

Nothing rolled
That is waxed thread, used in leather work, wind with the loop underneath and thread and pull through, cut and pull through the other way and cut and the end is hidden, a technique fancy mechanics learn from the wise old ones.
Campag stopped making 1 1/8" head sets, sigh!
As a team mechanic from yesteryear I was in contact with Vittoria and Veloflex for many years as they were sponsors of the Aussie team and the tyre direction stuff for road tyres is actually nonsense, 99% for marketing purposes, especially as the herring bone tread is not even .5mm deep. The tyres mobs, said, put the label on the R/H side. I am not making that up!
Still using M5 and M6 stainless studs and nyloc nuts here, no problems with fender mounting
still using normal cromo steel in my CS bridges, just like the rest of the world has done for a 100 years, still no problem.
Re: Paul's Llewellyn Cadenzia is leaving
I think the Hope headset is fine as it matches the Deda bars and carbon seatpost and it is good to see at least one British part on a beautiful bike. I like the thread whipping on the bar tape too. I have learnt so much from Dazza's posts over the years. They are like a ongoing tutorial in frame and bike building.

....
That is nice.
Seems we're calling the same thing in a different way. Back in the day we used the same principle to make the ends of those 12mm ropes used in summer and winter camps.
p.s.
I too know that is virtually impossible to distinguish when a GP4000 is fitted back-front :blink1:
Blue is a nice colour for a reply, you have good memory.
John's Voyageur (rando) frame metal work

That's more than just a rack
The bar is set very high now.

Thank you. I have been making these for a few years now and for the Voyageur model.

Saw that, but I had not noticed the flat tabs (to fix the bag?), and especially didn't get how the wire eyelets were made.
Re: John's Voyageur (rando) frame metal work
Beautiful work, as always, Dazza. Wow.
I'm curious, how many hours go into a completed rack?

Not really sure as I am always juggling many things during the day, but approx 40 hours and the bag mounts have to be fitted as well.

I use moto cycle fairing clips, they have a 90 degree over lock function. Straps are so errrrrr!

The wire eyelets start as 3/16" stainless tube, attack with 3/16" chainsaw file, then cut off each one and then de-burr, clean and brazed in place
post your cheque to the world wide head quarters of Llewellyn in sunny and hot Queensland Australia
Re: John's Voyageur (rando) frame metal work
Very neat, good to see how you got rid of all that faff with straps (that was a no-no for me regardin the Carradice Bagman).
BTW, what's the size of the bags?

Waynes Llewellyn Lucentezza build pics
Wayne's Llewellyn Lucentezza frame set is under way. I feel an off the shelf handle bar stem does not compliment a nice bespoke frame set. I made fillet brazed stems for many years but I felt a lugged stem for lugged bikes was required for my production. In 2004 I set about on my first casting project. I made fabricated sample lugs and did 2D CAD drawings, tools were commissioned and the investment cast stainless steel stem lugs were born. They have real estate to the shorelines for a builder to simplify or elaborate upon. Since 2004 I have made many lugged stems to compliment Llewellyn frame sets. This stem lug set is destined for Wayne's Lucenteza frame set. If all goes well it will be at Bespoked 2017 in April (Bristol UK) before I ship to Wayne in California.

Re: Waynes Llewellyn Lucentezza build pics
For 12 years Columbus have supplied me 0.80mm wall Nivrocrom tube for making the Llewellyn lugged handle bar stems. This long and fruitful relationship with Columbus continues. This pic is of the first stage of mitering Wayne's stem tube that will be used with the cut lugs.
