VR software/hardware for nursing education

A longshot here, but this place has a wealth of knowledge on a variety of subjects. I’m involved with a new university heath sciences building project and the nursing administrators have included a VR room in the design, but they don’t want to use 3D goggles, as they’re focused on projectors in a 3D environment. I know…old professors yelling at virtual clouds. Does anyone here have any recommendations for software/hardware and perhaps a location or 2 or 3 that have such a room? We are wiling to travel to tour and this room will augment the SIM (simulation) labs and the Psychomotor labs, which use a series of Laerdal manikins….thanks.
