Nope, I was patrolling just offshore at Cabo San Lucas with Blackbeard.

I knew that there were a lot of people there yesterday, but then I took a walk to the top for a pano.

Based on the security bars in front, I'm guessing that the bike shop has a bigger break-in threat compared to the optical shop.
Maybe if they switched to selling penny-farthings instead, the threat would be as low as it is for the folks selling monocles next door. And they'd be able to tap into the late 19th century throw-back crowd.

I thought it was a shrew maybe. Then I put on my glasses. Hopped into the bottle and outside we went.

Seems like graduation photos are having a moment here.
Looking back at the archives, I haven't walked since 2019.

Looking forward to wishing the graduating class well tomorrow morning.

Re: Project: One photo a day (but not necessarily every day)
First ever sighting of a Blanding's turtle for me, in Webster, NH. Not vanishingly rare around here, but unlikely I'll ever see one again (I've never seen one before).
Helped this lady across the street and, even after some waiting, she was too shy to poke her head out. Funny- a couple in a Miyata stopped because they saw the Hampsten in a heap on the other side of the road and assumed I had crashed (as I was bent over looking at the turtle, they assumed I was bent over in pain from crashing). I blabbed to them about this being a VERY rare turtle, I'd never seen one before, I'm going to report it to the state, blah blah blah, and I think they thought I was nuts.

You are, but it is the good kind of nuts.
