Driving a truck down at the last minute has it's advantages...
not a lot of building this week but I did deliver the Corsa Concepts bike. Also this week in no paticular order; A repowder job on my race niner, my red road bike just turned its hundredth mile today, the Cincinati mill that I bought for scrap price ($500) because I couldn't turn it down and it was only 2.5 miles from my house! and then to finish up, 2 shots of my heat treat oven which I finished this week, I'm going to try my hand at an AL. frame, my son Finn signed up to be my 75# test pilot this year.
It will also double as a powdercoat oven down the road I think. Happy one hundred everyone!
Almost done with my all rounder. Next is the same bike in wife size.

I've been a bit nervous about posting with you all. The work on FNL is definitely what I aspire to. Couldn't sit out round 100 though.

I can't remember if I posted this or not. Number two shortly before finishing, wanted to make sure I got the clearances right. This was my attempt at an all-rounder, and my first 650b bike. I got it in my head that I also wanted to make sure it could run 700c wheels if I wanted. The frame has now gone off to paint.

It's a 57 square with 6 degree slope, so actual ST is something like 54. Angles are 73 parallel, drop is 68mm, stays are 417mm, so it should be a good compromise that works well with either tire size. I used Dazza's lugs and a basic Deda cro-mo tubeset, as this bike will be my "beater" for riding to the store (hence the braze-ons, next project is building some load-carrying racks) and riding with my kids. Unfortunately, I have no idea how it rides...I thought about building it up and taking it for a ride sans paint, but there was a couple of feet of snow on the ground and the roads were still icy.
