That's nice. (you mustn't have any house cats around, or at least none that spend much time outside)
You could install a tiny bell and either train them to use it, or like Pavlov, teach them that "ding, ding, ding" means "lunch time."

I recognize that bike mailbox in your avatar but can't quite place it... East Mountain Drive? Lower Gibraltar?

Right road, wrong direction, its on W Mtn, probably no more than .5 miles from Coyote Rd where E Mtn starts. The owner of this property and the adjoining one is an artist, lots of cool stuff on the properties. Adjoining property is book themed, a bookish mailbox and the residence a "stack" of books, known as the Book House(built 8-10yrs ago), think I've posted these before but in case you missed it:

The entire area surrounding SB is a great place to ride!
Re: Project: One photo a day (but not necessarily every day)
Apologize for all the pics in this "one photo a day" but might as well include full size avatar pic, bike is a 20" wheeled bmx, rider is life size +-.

I think these get up to 2’ in length so not small like skinks in North America.

Meet Abby (the Abyssinian cat).
We got Abby as a 2.5 month old kitten and raised/trained her like our previous Abyssinians - no chasing animals. Abby and Boris get on well as per photo.
After 6 months of constant, consistent daily training she got the message. Now aged 5 years she is ultra protective of 'her' birds, her blue tongue lizards etc. My partner Susan did 90% of the training as she and Abby are home always. We have 6 acres of gardens abutting a wildlife corridor and are registered with Land For Wildlife so we have a plethora of wildlife using the garden as a refuge, food source etc. Cats can be trained not to chase and catch wildlife but it requires complete one on one training from early on.

I call this... Winter. On the wall, you'll see a letter signed by George H. W. Bush (41). He and Barbara wished me a happy retirement about ten years ago. I can't take full credit for the shape this Regal is in, but I've maintained the patina for about eight years.

I confess I did not know they were still made, but I was walking across the parking lot looking at this trying to figure it out and then I saw those three letters …. TVR …
Have not seen a modern one in a very long time and this was quite eyecatching.

Okanagan Valley looks like quite the winter destination. We have a horse event the second weekend of March in the Tonto Verde section of "Okanagan Valley." I'm bringing bikes if it isn't too cold.

I am back in the Okanagan Valley right now. Flew home Sunday to meet with a new client and the bank on Monday. A couple of weeks of intensive report writing and I will be back in the Not Okanagan Valley. Maybe by then it will be warmer. It is warmer here right now than it is in Phoenix.
Sadly I am missing a couple of really great events while away. With Super Bowl in town this year everything else is getting shuffled around on the calendar, not for the best.
