Back on topic, I mentioned before in this thread that my father took my brother's to Watkins Glen many times back in the 80's. We were quite young but I remember vividly, my favorite car - the Lowenbrau #14 Porsche 962. It just so happened that it was the car that always seemed to win because it was driven by a great driver, the late Al Holbert. When their sponsor, Miller Brewing Company switched the car to the Miller High Life livery, it just wasnt as special to me. I have so many memories of camping atop the hill at the toe of the boot. Cars screaming out of the corner and up the hill. It was awesome. We saw a lot of different cars race there but this one is the most memorable for me:
