Now that's some ingenuity. Not unlike GIMPS distributed computing project. LOVE IT. Hotd@mn human beings at their best are a fearsome lot.

I somehow managed to get Covid-19. On Monday of this week, I noticed that I had a heavy feeling on my sternum, almost like mild heartburn. Then came the aches, the weakness, headache and more pressure on my chest as the week has moved on. I have doctor friends who confirmed that what I am experiencing is exactly what their patients who test positive are experiencing. I may be going in for a test this afternoon if my doctor requests it. I would prefer to remain a hermit in my home office so nobody else has to get exposed. I am just hoping this thing flat lines until recovery, rather than taking a drastic turn for the worse like I read about.
For kicks, I checked the CDC site to see which areas of my county in SC have been hit the most. My zip code has the most cases by far in the county. That is really odd. It is a small area without much population density. Odd.
Stay safe out there.
I hope you are able to get tested to verify your symptoms are in fact the virus. I think getting data is one of the most important things in fighting this on a larger scale.
That said, I hope your symptoms are mild, short lived and you are back to normal ASAP.
I hope you get a test. Stay in touch with your doctor. Sounds like from all the previous narratives I've read that pneumonia is the switch that gets doctors to jump, so that must be the benchmark to watch out for. Any worsening in breathing, coughing blood specks in phlegm. I can't imagine that sorting out what is happening is easy when the oxygen content in your blood is decreasing, so err on the side of being a pain in the ass with the medical profession.
All our strength to you. There but for, you know?
Thank you for the kind words. I will be tested on Monday morning. Tests are a bit scarce here and I was warned that they are *fairly* accurate but judgement needs to be used as well.
Houston, report back here on the regular ok?
Do what your doc. says.
This seems like something that would just get someone killed or chased by a mob with torches. Good intentions but completely naive about its reception on the ground.

Just a lot of rest and phone consults, Houston. Not sure about medication. As for anxiety, these physical manifestations overlap with Covid-19:
Shortness of breath, hyperventilation
Chest pain or heart palpitations
An inability to be still and calm
Dry mouth, nausea, dizziness
Being easily fatigued
Having difficulty concentrating; mind going blank
Having muscle tension
I'm sure you're aware of the above; I wasn't. Articles such as the below have helped me:

Let us know what reusable, washable masks you have. Outside of limited work I’m extremely isolated but this is useful for all of us.
Curious before I click to buy something.
One of the people at work is making cloth, washable masks. We actually set up a sewing room for her and one other person who cuts and stacks material. I'm a manager so I waited until all my guys had one. They saved me a powder blue one, with bunnies. I wear it with pride.
BTW it looks like it might have been the pangolins: Study shows pangolins may have passed new coronavirus from bats to humans
Not even kidding, I've been rocking this for ~ 2 weeks:

I hope some members of humankind do not use this as an excuse to exterminate pangolins. It is not the fault of the pangolins and if they had been left alone we would not be having the current problem.
