Did you climb the big dune?
Re: Project: One photo a day (but not necessarily every day)
Yes sir Dan. I’ll post a nice video for you when I’m near Wi-Fi.

Not me on the kite…just filming the view from the top.

There you have it. I must've been buying bad cheese for 22 years. It molded and I threw it out.
Now only the best cheese comes home with me.

I climbed that thing years ago with my big kid when she was little. My wife doesn’t like heights and didn’t watch.

Wasn’t there an episode of Portlandia about art dealers who sold coffee shop (bad) artwork?
Re: Project: One photo a day (but not necessarily every day)
At least none of them are of the crayon/spray paint variety you normally would see.

This is near Muir Beach, barely 5 miles north of SF as the crow flies but about a 30 min drive. It always strikes me as the ultimate example of "location, location, location".
I took this photo from Spindrift Point, which belonged to the sailor/author Charles Borden in the 60s. He donated the land and his tiny cabin to a conservation org, which now manages it as a preserve and staff retreat. My partner works for the org and we occasionally get to spend a weekend there.
