^^^ that bike hits all the marks
And so everyone knows what those marks are:
Tire / wheel range
29 x 2.5"
27.5+ x 2.8-3.0"
29 1x11 or 1x12
27.5+ 1x11 or 1x12
29 SS
27.5+ SS
All this with 16.5" stays in all configurations or 16.375" slammed in both configurations.
Quite possibly the Ultimate Hardtail and I'm not one to speak in extremes. But having ridden it in both modes, it's got me well beyond excited.
ITT: custom bike goals abound!
If you haven't read up on it, here's a write up on all things Plus via the 44HQ Blog. Enjoy.

Just what I want someday.
My first MTB saddle time in years was two weeks ago, on 27.5+ alloy hard tails and rocky Central Oregon singletrack. I preferred the Norco Fluid to the Specialized Fuse, and far preferred WTB Ranger 2.8s to Ground Control 3.0s. I have to re-learn some skills before I step up to your version.
Nicely written. Haven't seen your blog before. Fun read.
