December.
Looks like time off is over, building forks in anticipation of upcoming builds = let me know if there is anything I can build for you, no wait list and just one guy I need to call on Monday to kick off a F&F.

Steve, Do you have any alignment dramas after brazing with a thru axle? As in length growth from the heat.

I'm not really getting what you're putting down = you mean does the ATC grow or something?
It's the same as other forks but you have to really watch your fab process and keep everything tight, no slop allowed, you want everything to play nice and line up perfectly as the wheel goes where it goes and there it is.
I did have Anvil make me a +2mm dummy for brazing, I think it's really important and when I take it out after brazing it's a perfect fit no bending the blades required, zero alignment is done as it doesn't need any.

Exactly.
There's no "fix" to mis-alignment or uneven heating - some people use a rear system that lets you rotate an insert to account for slop, but that's not my style - you could fix it with an involved thing like you mention, but that's not really sell-able.

Expansion?
When bronze freezes it contracts - the only thing I can think of that changes if you know what you're doing WRT proper procedures is that you set your rake a few mm shy of what you want as it always adds 2mm to your rake, just like how I aim 2mm shy of BB drop I desire as it always contracts as it's brazed before the seat stays are added, your frame's effective top tube also shrinks about a mm or two if you have your tubes in the fixture in a relaxed state of no tension.
So basically, I never have anything 'grow' or expand.
- Garro.
Don't know about that Mr. Steve. Your fruit trees and garden seem to grow and expand a lot every year. That and your fishing tales are as interesting as your occupation. Have a great Holiday season.
I knew you were interested in renewable energy, but how much does it cost to feed that guy? Good one Mr. Steve.
