Thanks Steve.
Well, the race was rescheduled due to rain and changed from a race to a timed ride with a group start. I got the hole shot and no one passed me, so I'm going to say it went well, though it was very much unofficial.

You Sir make 29er wheels look small!
I have a bike next for a cat 6'7" - thanks for some fresh perspective, when you build bikes for guys over 6'4" the #'s start to get daunting, so it's good to see that yes, there are cats who make a 27+" top tube look NORMAL - as many times as you make one, you have to stop & think "Really?" = and that's after having done at least 1/2 dozen bikes for guys OVER 6'5" up to 6'9"
Rock on!

Whatever you did to make the numbers work, you nailed it. I've three bikes, all steel, all handmade, 2 of which were made for my measurements. This is the one that just disappears under me. Its the most stable, easiest to no-hands, most intuitive, yet totally flickable in the tight east coast trails we have out here.
Over a year since receipt and I'm still gushing.
In Garro we trust.

These are all steps in my alignment process, this frame with 17.75" effective chain stays and a 26.5" top tube for instance had only a .25mm discrepancy over the whole span of these points, over 111cm from each other, a frame for a guy 6'7".
BB is faced, the seat tube is checked, head tube as well, and the dropouts are in phase to each other, and the axle is centered with the frame, and the dropouts are parallel.
Good to go.

Nice Rohloff setup!
One question, I noticed a trio of braze-on on the curved top tube. What is it for? Thanks.

Hey!
On the non-disc side of the fork as well = for the wires from the generator hub to the lights and charger ports.
It has full racks, lights & three H2O bottles as well as hidden fender mounts.

"Got to ride the new orange machine on Monday, it was so much fun. Fit was great and I never felt any pain in my neck during the ride which was the best part. Thanks so much again"
