a long time swiss-army-knife fan and carrier, i've been wanting to pick up something a little different, just because. i use the knife literally every day for something or the other, and the screwdriver/bottle opener are indispensable in my everyday needs. this rules out most single blade knives. after debating for a while, i just pulled the trigger on one of these from boker. german made, wood handles, looks nice. hopefully the quality is excellent.

I'm generally not much of a Tudor fan, but that Pelagos checks all the right boxes!

I had a chance to hold it in hand the other day...it's really nice. The titanium case and brushed ceramic bezel create a really nicely subdued look. I already have a dive watch and I still want one bad.

We share the same taste in watches, Mr. Strongin. That red bezeled Black Bay makes my knees tremble. Did you see that the domed crystal is Sapphire? Ohhhhh Billy.

I really can't decide which to get.*
*Said as if there's a chance I'll get either in any sort of near future. There isn't.

Tudor Heritage Black Bay. Comes on bracelet or distressed leather, and both come with a Nylon/NATO strap as a second option.

Re: Things I want, like, now.
So, Tudor is a "gateway" brand into the Rolex family of watches? Maybe they should open the door a little wider. The Black Bay is certainly not priced for the masses. Their Heritage Chronograph in blue and orange is awesome....and $5K. Entry level my ass.

Re: Things I want, like, now.
It is all relative but you knew that ;) That new Omega is unobtainum for me, the price is nuts....doesn't make me want it less.
Not unrelated, the fabulous finds that VSalonistas like Musgravecycles come with are obtainable, beautiful and fun. So there is that.
