Nice. Early 70s?
We never got the roof off my dad's '67. It was pretty well painted on.
things I saw on my ride today....although the wheels are non-period I still like it and it was in cherry condition...and a guy and his gal out for a cruise....

Even This Tiny Corner Of The New BMW M3 Wagon Looks Perfect
Here's one for Lionel. Ouch.
WRS | News | Bugatti, Porsche and Mercedes collide in extremely expensive car accident
The location of this event surprises me not in the least.
Just "reserved" a 4-door Bronco via $100 refundable deposit.
My wife actually likes it, so maybe it replaces her Golf wagen to go along with the van.
Certainly not the most efficient thing in the world, but maybe we can own a "fun" car once in our lives, and it'd certainly hold three kids better.
The “one of” Aston Martin Bulldog was in storage and it’s now being restored....looks a lot like a DeLorean DMC-12.

2021 V6 Tacomas will have dual zone climate control. wifey's 2008 Camry had that. it's good to see Toyota is trickling down that 13yr old tech to models other than TRD with certain packages.
that said...
2021 Tacoma is now priority #1 for me.
Toyota has a long history of doing the bare minimum. If they're selling well, why bother making them better?
The MR2 Spyder, besides looking cartoonish, had enormous potential for an inexpensive sports car, great chassis and would pull over 1G with no mods other than higher performance tires. It used the engine from the base Celica, with 140hp. That was just enough for it to be just a bit faster than a Miata, it's competition. Of course Toyota also had the Celica GTS's 180hp engine available (same block and engine mounts and everything, just added variable valve timing basically) that they could have easily put in the MR2 Spyder. But did they? Nah.
And now they have the new Supra. Compared to the last generation, which came out in '93, the new one is 100lbs lighter and has an extra 15hp. And it's not really even a Toyota, it's a BMW Z4 with different logos and bunch of fake vents and scoops. The new one is quicker, but with 22 years to think about it since it was discontinued in '98 we all hoped for more.
Any DeLorean driver right now is a retard. Why would you decide to stay in 2020 ?
The grip is the issue though haha. Getting over 1G is pretty rare for a street legal car on street legal tires. Quick googlefu brings up this from 2008 - https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...river-testing/

Tire technology has progressed a LOT since 2008
True. But the MR2 Spyder came out in '01 though!
Anyhow, the point was, despite it's cartoonish looks the MR2 Spyder had potential to be really cool and could have had an extra 40hp right off the showroom floor without Toyota having to spend any more development money, they already had the engine, yet they didn't offer it even as an option. Doug has a good overview here. 2200lbs!
