Love seeing that good ole' 26'er. Everytime I see 27.5 or 29er, I wonder whether I should get an upsize of the wheels, but then I get on your 26er and those needs go away.

What I found is that by using a wider rim (Derby at 40mm) the absolute width of the tire actually came down a little bit due to squaring up of those edge knobs. So the tread on wider rim is more flat and upright, instead of the edge knob rounding out to be shorter at the margin but wider overall with the narrower rim.

I would like to put a patent payment system in place for how that Rohloff and brake lines are run on a Coconino. You will have to do a shot of Tequila for every time you do such a configuration! :laugh:

oooohhh...Bravo. 26in and the sweet bontrageresque set up on those seat stays. I am still riding a Ibis mojo hardtail, a fat chance wicked, a mikkelsen and feeling sad all these years of despise thrown for 26wheels from the hip "cycling culture".
