William Prince out of northern Canada is awesome. His lyrics are jaw dropping at times...and I hate country.

Sinikka langeland: strengen var af rode guld (Norwegian folk, wonderful winter music)

While I love serious music and I am serious about loving music, these guys are just too fun. Appeals to the band kid in me.
skip to the bit where he has madison square garden sing three-part harmony. good god, y'all
The Dave Koz/Chris Thile duet just made me so happy.
Big fan of his, seeing him in a few months along with Sturgill Simpson and super pumped for that show!!

That's not the voice I expected!
If you like great song writing, surely you know Jason Isbell. We watched the documentary on the Bluebird Cafe a few weeks ago, and in it he talked about playing this song there and he was so nervous he mixed up the lyrics, he sang "I blocked a park away" instead of "I parked a block away", but people told him they liked that line specifically so he left it that way.
This was filmed a few years before he went to rehab. Amazing how much he's changed since getting sober.

Pretty soon you'll remember when you could remember when you loved someone."

I like singer/song writers who tell stories. There's more to Country than Pickup Trucks and Beer (Tyler Childers)
