I like peanut butter on apples.
Thanks. That one is brown canvas micarta with steel hardware.
Eric/Nathan those are beauts!
Does anyone watch Forged in Fire?
Forged in fire is the only reality show my wife and I agree on. It makes a great betting game (we each pick who we think will win after the 30sec intro)
A friend suggested it. I don't get the History channel, but have seen snippets on Youtube. Jason Knight and J. Neilson are both great makers. JN is a PA guy.
Those are gorgeous knives. Here is one in use:

Custom knives - another thing I never could have thought could be sold for so much money. Makes a custom bike frame seem like a bargain, way more lbs of stuff for your dollar!!

12" 1075 blade, Micarta handle scales and mild steel fittings. Layered patina and oil finish. Combining some features of a kukri and a Puma hunter, this woods walker has a bit of a barong feel.
Bet that blade has some @ss behind it. Good for whacking vegetation out of the way.
This is with just a preliminary bevel:

I just finished my first hollow ground knife.

Continuing to play with surface finish and texture- in this case I blued the edges and natural flats, and went with a bright satin on the bevels.

Need to pick a color and sheath design next.
More here.
I've been plugging away at a new addition. If you are interested, you can take a peek at more going on over here.

Very cool Eric. Have you made any folders yet? Any plans to?
Thanks. In regards to folders; I have not. Eventually I'd like to do some friction or slip joints for personal projects, but nothing planned.
These are great Eric. This one is a real beauty.
Thanks, J and J. That's one of my regular users. A couple more coming down the pike.
Josh- that saw blade is the gift that keeps on giving. Keeping my peepers peeled for another few of them.
