Ending my best ride of the year last night in the ER.

VA summer weather; nice most of the day, then thunderstorms that roll in at 5, cancelling the club ride.

People who like to police the actions of others, saying they need to be more responsive, adhere to timelines and then deny the right for a response. Then those same people go ahead and miss their own timelines by a country mile but are not called out on it.

I'm on vacation so I've lost track of what day it is. I will do my push ups.

But what is up with grown men wearing rash guards as some kind of pseudo casual beach town clothing? You have man boobs and they are one of the most uncomfortable, most specific-purpose garments I have ever used.

Refueling your Yukon is not one of those purposes. Nor is going to dinner at any halfway decent restaurant.

I'll do my pushups for quoting...but I read this and had to laugh, and hey..it's Thursday. I'm on vacation in Corolla, NC, (Outer Banks) and yeah...some clothes should not be worn by some people in some situations. The beach seems to bring out the worst in people's, (especially men) sartorial decisions. Let's not even touch the subject of bikewear. BTW...so glad I didn't bring the bike down here. Not needed.

My asssavers shot off during my commute this morning since I decided to ride my bike without a bolt going up from the seatpost. After I got to work I noticed and rode halfway back home with no sight of it. Hope to find it on the way home.

Been a rough couple weeks. Last week my family buried my mother in-law who was an absolutely amazing woman. Her time here came abruptly to an end and far too soon. This woman was in many ways more of a mother to me than my own. My wife is inconsolable and my kids are looking for their Grammy. It breaks my heart.

To add insult to injury, my payroll is jacked up this period and I had to pass on the perfect CX frameset - an Engin. Last night I was diagnosed with Lyme and just started a 30 day course of doxycycline. Awesome. The photosensitivity should be fun to deal with on my family's beach vacation next week.

I'm fucking tired. Sleep has been scarce all week. Baby wakes up crying and my wife apparently doesn't hear it.

A couple months ago we had a benefit auction for one of my high school classmates. He died Tuesday morning.

So, what happened? Slammed the stem? Broken post?

Europeans, Brazillionaires, whomever, that buy airfare to New York City, and rent hotel rooms, to do their shopping, as the dollar is weak in comparison to their own currency and goods are cheaper over here. They have no issue of complaining about the price of the goods to the hourly- usually without healthcare- employees selling them said cheaper goods.

I know it'd take a worldview to see how that's tactless, but that's tactless.

I'm thinking of framing a photo of Armstrong behind the register with the quote "No Gifts."

How hard is it to make a cheese pizza with the proper amount of tomato sauce? It's not effin rocket-science!!!
