Neurofeedback efficacy

Where can I find some independent studies or opinions regarding the effectiveness of neurofeedback in treating anxiety issues? Everything I find seems to be written by a provider or is somewhat dated.

I know, beware of online medical advice, just trying to find some objective information and I know there are some very intelligent folks on the Salon.

I can provide personal experience on that, as both a neuroscientist and a past user of neurofeedback - neurofeedback is a huge category: everything from measuring basic brain cycles and turning an LED different colors to proper EEG caps with a full spectrum of sensory options. What exactly are you looking to do?
