time passes quickly

my mother lives in an assisted living place south of boston.
it is filled with folks ranging from high 70s to 100+.
recent veterans day they filled the lobby with photos of the residents when they were in uniform during ww-2.
men and women pictured in uniform in their 20s... almost everybody there was in the service during the war.
snap your fingers and they are now 90.
their achievements both in war and peace made this country.

time flies.
make the most of yours.

And the older you get the faster it goes...

The one stage left is my granddad in new guinea during ww2. He was a medic because he didn't believe in killing people. He became a farmer after the war because he didn't want to work for anyone, especially the government again.
