Generic Surplus Work Boot- The Art of Wardrobe Endorsement
Here's a look at Fall 2011

I've worn my way through two pairs of these. I don't know what to say. If I had to live in something, this would be it. A suede sneaker with workboot-like stitching, nothing more. Durable, yet extremely soft. Stylishly different, but never in-your-face. And- most importantly- cheap. The flat sole makes it my go-to footwear for drumming gigs.
This season's black and royal blue seem to be calling me. But really, at an affordable price that never seems to increase, why choose?
P.S.- The gray and salmon (both lookers) from previous seasons are still lingering around the web for cheap. Up your casual game.

The Generic Surplus stuff is decently durable for the price. I paid $30 including shipping for my suede grey high tops with black rubber areas so I can ollie without killing the suede. They are in really good shape after two winters (the only time I can wear them in Florida). I like the looks of these and seem to be a good replacement for my beat to hell desert boots.
