Outlier and other fine @ass (long) pants
Stop me from buying a second pair of Outlier Slim Dungarees 'cuase man they are incredible. I found these when searching for something to help me break my Levis 501 shrink to fit habit.
What I love about Outlier most is the genius fabric which sheds dirt and water and is very very tough. Dress them up dress them down. Perhaps one of my favorite clothing items of all time.....help.

Re: Outlier and other fine @ass (long) pants
I've had a pair of Rapha trousers (what they now call "Double weave") for about two years now and they are my absolute go-to for travel. Extremely weather-resistant, hearty, zipper-pocketed, great fit for cyclist legs, and a lot of nice touches like reflective strips sewn into the inner pant-leg for when you roll up your cuff, plus a reflective tab on a rear pocket. My wife just got me a pair of the Loopback trousers for Hannuka that I opened last night and they fit similarly, with a bit more stretch and I'm sure they'll be in steady rotation.
For what it's worth I've also owned a couple of pairs of Outlier pants and shorts, and find Rapha to be comparable, but better fitting for my leg-type, which is to say relatively thick quads and calves that are not in proportion with my waist, or what would be considered a normal proportion).

Get your a$$ into the weight room and into the squat cage. Problem solved on the 501's and any "slim" pants.

Filson makes some very nice, rugged pants. Formerly reserved for lumbjacks but that demographic has shrunk so now for the rest of us.

Hmmm Filson Hmmm. Shelter Brush pants are available in 36" however they are butt ugly. Good suggestion none the less.

That they are. The Fenimore twills are pretty nice when worn - more NW casual cocktail party than banging around in but ...

Agreed. I've asked them to consider a custom order to no avail. Where have all the flowers gone?
