Love the shots of the woods in Galicia full of eucalypts.
Always stunning what skill and passion can bring to life. An artisan in a world where artisanal has come to mean too little. Thanks for sharing that.
I need to work harder.
Spectacular. Like something out of an absurd dream.
I am not, nor will I ever be, that cool.
Ahhh i like making paper boats and hats using a needle and small knife edge. I amuse only myself ;)
Remaining childish is a tremendous state of innocence.

For anyone interested in this sort of thing, it's well worth a trip to The Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad.
Those are exquisite, just lovely.
But I'm sure a well-made mass-produced engine is a much, much more efficient and precise instance of an engine.

I'd guess this Spaniard could've designed a proper oil filter when he was 12.
My 1950 Chevy Pickup truck. The oil filter was optional. They assumed you changed the oil at regular intervals.
How things have changed.
Very cool mini V-12 !! Thanks for the link. I have planned to be making a Hunwick Hallam V-twin mini engine when I retire. I only hope that my hands are steady enough!
As far as oil filter goes with the corvette. The issue is with the suppler. The original design was good but when outsourcing the mass produced filter is where the issue is. The supplier's first samples are good, then the supplier's managers try to save some cost and BANG ,,, Houston we have a problem!!
I read the Torque News article, and they make it out like only one rod fails then you have a knock in the engine. Wrong! In the real world when the oil filter fails like this. The whole engine needs to be replaced or a complete rebuild. Huge cost!!
Maybe an OT thread should start about engines. BIG or small
Heres another cool little V12
