The things that are hiding in your own hometown. The Dilorio family has been running the Henry A. Evers Co. in Providence for many years. Their current location is now on Oxford Street between Allens and Eddy (one street over from Hookfast who made my headbadges). I went to drop off a design to be made into a steel stamp a couple weeks ago and Joe Dilorio gave me the full tour. Lots of specialized machinery has been gathered here since the business started in 1898. They do lots of metal stamps for knife makers, locksmiths, and jewelers. They made the stamp that I use when making stems and crankarms. If youíre a framebuilder and youíre looking for a maker stamp for your bottom bracket or dropouts or whatever, check these guys out and keep them going for another 120 years. Thanks to @Lugsnotdrugs for the two machinery photos. #metalstamp #henryevers #everstamp
