Making brass pulleys for the mixte’s rear cantilever brake on my ancient South Bend lathe. Trying to decide between the concentric circle relief which would get a matching paint fill or the hand drilled honeycomb one. Thoughts? #pulley #manualmachining #chapmancycles

Never been a fan of such arrangement, the brake outer ends facing the sky, so everything will get inside and make the brake feeling horrible. I'd make a nicely slotted cable-stop with a stainless steel adjuster, for full-length cable routing.
