85 Wheat Thins Miss-n-Out series next to Three Rivers stadium. 8 hour drive back to NC with palm-sized strawberry. I still let my wife do most of the driving on long distances.

2019 season here at Marymoor Velodrome

This came up elsewhere so may as well put it here. From 1992, dual slalom, first race of a five event weekend. Trials, dual slalom, hill climb, xc and a downhill. Two days, one fee. Came home with a Slingshot frame for the effort which was sold to feed the bike racing and a bit of travel for the balance of that summer.

The reason it was dug up from the archive was to make a call for a reissue of those shoes!

I could easily have been there at a similar time. I raced the winter series there in ‘08 & ‘09; and I recall doing some races as a London Dynamo in 2010.

Ah cool, I'm not sure how many times I went over there, it was a bit of a pain to get to from the South East and the journey was a stressful situation. I raced over in Surrey as well but weirdly never in Kent for crits, only cyclocross.
