Default Hartford Cx Nats - who's going?

Even though it means less holiday bacchanalia, it's hard to resist with it being only 3 hours away for me. Doing my time with basement intervals and some recovery days on the MTB. I'm in the M 55-59 on Friday with a couple of teammates. Who else is going and whaddya think of the course? From the videos on Cxhairs, not much elevation to deal with on the bike and just the one significant runup to the top of the reservoir. If dry, looks like a flat, power course. if muddy, looks like the protracted off camber going back and forth on the reservoir hill could make it interesting.

I'll be there. Racing non-champ 23-29 on tuesday, club collegiate on wednesday, and club collegiate relay on thursday. I think the course'll be hard. It's going to be muddy with all the precip the past few weeks. That run up up the levee will be tough and as you mentioned, off cambers will be especially tough in the wet.

I live 7 miles away. I'll probably come over to spectate. The promoters have never run a cx race...there (different promoter has). The course is different than what has been done there previously. I'd agree, not much elevation change, although the off camber and the run up will be difficult. The grass was fast in the early fall but with the rain, that will probably no longer be the case. If it freezes and thaws, all those flat grass sections will be rutted and bumpy and tough.

I'll be there! I'm racing the 30-34 and single speed race.
I'm planning on sticking around for the elite race and helping in the pits.
