    Default Thru Axle

So I stripped my quick release thru axle for fly fork. Should I get another quick release type or should I get one of the ones that uses a hex wrench to bolt it in? An brand preference or are they all the same?

Robert axle makes high quality axles for damn near everything. They only do hex bolt style which is my preference.

I prefer hex, and agree that Roberts is an easy solution to finding a new axle

Paragon Machine Works makes nice ones.

I bought a Hardlite rear thru bolt and it's been just dandy.

I really like the Paragon Machine Works Spline TA. They really cover it all. 1) they look really cool 2) the QA mechanism is very nice 3) there three ways to remove the TA- so you have an out if one fails.

PMW non-skrewed ta’s are very nice too. They have two ways to remove the TA. Kinda like that after striping a TA once.
