    Long live the hardtail!

Joe, how many yards of travel you have in that fork? Those Minion plusses look like pure traction porn.

Isaac, you got 100mm up front? Looks fast, and very serious, seriously fast.

But the tires on both those bikes are looking like cyclocross tubulars compared to my zaftig supermodel:

For sure! Although I do have a FS at my disposal as well.
    Yes, 100mm fork.

I actually just built a pair of 27.5+ NOX rims for this bike for "fun" days.

Oh, and your bike is freakin' awesome!

Just bought this pretty mint 1992 Cannondale M2000. Almost all original. Bought this to replace an M800 that I should have never sold in the place. Oh well.

Oh no, I've somehow neglected to post mine until now. In rutted, rooty Florida I'm loving the front AND rear springy action.

Nice, shirk. Tell us more. Love the splatter. Looks pretty stinking slack. Is the thin tube to eliminate steering flex? I.e. when ripping down hill? Probably feel more in tune with what the fork is doing that way...

The top tube is 7/8" straight gauge and the little under tube is 1/2". I didn't have any regular butted top tubes on hand when I started it and decided to do a double top tube "klunker" kinda style bike. It's given me a couple ideas for the next frame to do another twin top tube version.

It's the white Cielo MTB a few pages back in this thread. I actually don't know the name of either of the colors. I only offered example pics of bikes (and cars) I liked for the pink, told him to run wild with the blue. I will ask the painter.

I guess I never added this. Steve built this earlier this summer. Fillet brazed steel, Fox 34, Boost, handbuilts with Hope hubs and WTB I-29's, PNW dropper, Deore XT 1X 32/11-46. Beautiful finish by Dark Matter.

It will be due for a real pic soon, but it's all built up now! For those asking, it was a custom blended color. Inspired by a Lincoln coupe in my neighborhood of the color "rose diamond". Kind of a pink champagne.
