Picked up used a few weeks ago to replace my Voodoo Aizan.

So far it's just what I wanted, well balanced weight/durability and agile handling suitable for east coast cross country racing.

And maybe it was Strongin but I cannot remember for sure, thanks for the Rapha Tool Roll whomever you were that sold it to me. Nice added bit of penache.

While I was training for the 2016 Boston Marathon, I was also researching my next bike. I checked out more than a dozen bikes over a 6-month period and took the plunge today and purchased a Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp 6Fattie. This is the first production mountain bike I've purchased in more than 20 years, the last being a 1993 Bridgestone MB-2.

#RondeRosey a super duper fantastic ride VSr Rosey puts on to benefit bikesnotbombs. It's on my must do list. He gets the best kind of people to do his ride...and finishing at the WashSqTavern is the absolute best.

    Muddy 44 previously mentioned...at a unofficial beerstop.

Coming into the second season on an Ibis Tranny 29. Longest I've ever owned a single mountain bike! This picture was taken the day after the 2015 running of the Maah Daah Hey 100.

First foray into plus sized wheels. So far, so very good. I can see this trend turning into a thing, if it hasn't already. I've had this bike for a week, 5 rides or so. And I can't see going back to normal sized wheels for anything except racing, and I lost my desire to race some time ago. It really is that good.

    Ibis Mojo3.
    27.5+ (2.8" tires)
    Pike
    XT
    etc.

Built this to test the 29+ tire size before possibly ordering a custom one. A bit too black for my taste but will do the trick for the upcoming months. These Vee tires Trax Fatty have tons of grip in the dry.

It is a chinese carbon frame. I wanted to try the Stache but the local trek dealer didn't have one available. This one has both elevated chainstays while the stache only has the DS one. I haven't been convinced by the 27.5+ bikes I tested so I basically wanted something cheap to test 29+ and no dealer in the area had 29plus bikes available. So far so good the bike is fun to ride, feels a bit like cheating sometimes. It may be a bit lazy on tights turns because of the long wheelbase compared to my previous 29er. I still hope to be able to try the Stache in the upcoming months as it seems to have much shorter chainstay and I'd like to sort out what comes from the wheelsize and what comes from this particular frame.

Loving the absence of gears to. SS will not work for the riding I do, but gosh after viewing the SS rigs in here I want one!

We have a new Quiring in the stable. I cannot say enough good things about his craftsmanship or the customer experience that Scott provides with everyone of his builds. Steel 29+, Whisky fork, SRAM/Shimano/Thomson/RF/I9 bits.

I don't think I've posted this one here yet:
