    Default Mountain Bikes @ Velocipedesalon

I know some of you ride dirt - and I don't mean long-reach calipers and clearance for fenders and expensive, bratwurst-looking Belgian tubulars.

Where do you spend your interwebs time? I've been out of the loop since MTBR, basically. For, like, a decade, probably more. I ride mountain bikes almost exclusively now, though I still have a very soft spot for my road bike, and am not about to forfeit my place in the Sachs line.

But I don't know where to get my internet MTB fix. Suggestions? Please say it isn't Pinkbike.

VitalMTB is pretty good for videos and new gear articles.

That guy doesn't know anything ;)

The Singletracks forum is okay, not quite as repetitive as MTBR. But, to be honest I've yet to find a MTB forum as good as VSalon. Most are the same handful of threads over and over and over and over again. Which tire should I get? What pedals? Which bike? etc etc.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

I too enjoyed the early days of MTBR. There really isn't much adult conversation out there about MTB shredding it seems. Most of my quality MTB conversation has been taking place on the trail or in the shop lately.

Applesauce...what is you particular dirt interest; down hill, cross country, fat bike, all mountain?

There are many forums/pages that feed specific interests.

Perhaps keep it in the family and lobby Josh to open a single track venue here on VS...all the dirty talk from only the best people :)

I second the motion for an ATB sub forum.

Seeing as there are cooking and wardrobe links, I don't think this is too much of a stretch.

    ¿Como no?

third the motion. MTBR is over-categorized to death. Pinkbike is mostly DHers.

Then again I don't really like talking about mountain bikes. I mostly just ride them (a lot).

It'd be nice to pull in some additional dirt-focused builders, too.

I'd rather keep the conversation going here, honestly. VS's signal-to-noise ratio is why I pose the question here in the first place!

Focused input from MTB framebuilders would be rad. Likewise for suspension tuners, brake-, wheel-and-tire, and drivetrain-experimenters...you know, more than just the fatbike and alt-bar crowd.

Happymtb is good, but in Swedish, alas. I fourth the motion of a fat-tire forum.

Another yay for mtb forum on vs. I have seen some pretty wicked mtb rigs shown off here along with really good quality mtb related threads(better than other mtb related sights). Hope TT and crew might consider?

Now lets make it easy suggesting some mods for the possible, maybe mtb forum, Garro? FTW? Cat from 44? Singletrack dude?

I would also support an mtb thread. We already have a fair number of posts that include mtb content, I hope the mods will consider starting it as its own category.
