    Default Guerrilla Gravity

Anyone riding Guerrilla Gravity? Thinking of ordering a Pedalhead soon. First new mtb since 2007 so Iím excited to step into the new world. (Also excited that a builder just down the road makes ďstockĒ frames for taller folks.) Guerrilla Gravity | Pedalhead | Info, Geometry, and Specs [22]

Two friends of mine ride previous generation aluminum Trail Pistols. They're really great bikes, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Great company too, they've been super responsive getting bits fixed.

A local outfitter here has a rental fleet of pedalheads. Good geometry, gimmicky square tubing makes the frames heavier than they need to be and flexier then Iíd like(but I seem to be one of the few people with strong preferences for aluminum hardtails).
They love renting the bikes, bombproof, no need to setup and properly tune and balance suspension...

I've got an aluminum shred dog. First bike in many that I'm considering keeping longer than my 24 month limit. Nice bike, good people and they are making them here when so many say "it can't be done" but haven't tried.

I've got a Pedalhead. Love it. Very fun bike. Feels like a big BMX bike. Climbs better than you might think - which isn't to say it climbs well. For the money, I think it would be tough to find a bike that is more fun or unique. I typically run mine with 2.4" 29er wheels (rather than 27.5).

Last time I was in Boulder REI was stocking GG. REI is pretty cool about test rides and rental.

Thought I was set, then a friend pointed me towards a yt jeffsy, which also comes on a xxl. Love the idea of buying something local, but the allure of full suspension for same money is strong. We shall see.

Thanks for the info. Everything I can find seems pretty positive. I’m curious: is this your only mountain bike for riding I the front range? I’m trying to decide if I want to go full suspension. I like to climb, but get tired of feeling beat up on the rough stuff.

Iíd gladly shred one of those GG hardtails set up with a double down casing 2.5 aggressor on the back down anything in the front range.
Pedalhead is a hoot going downhill.

My main mountain bike is a 3 year old Ibis Mojo 3 (which will likely get replaced this spring with something longer travel). I would not solely ride a hard tail on the front range. FS is better in every way for front range riding. But I do like having the option of a hard tail for when the mood strikes; my riding is probably 70/30 FS/HT.

If I did my math right, it’s the biggest stock full suspension available Wish I didn’t need so much seat post/drop, but it’s what had to be done.

What length dropper are you using. Looks like could go with a bigger drop amount and get more of the fixed portion in the frame.

175 or 180. The upgrade for a 200 didn’t seem worth the extra cost.

    Makes sense.

    How's it riding?
