Note fish - my Ala Carte again, rode from Phoenix to Yuma off road then 1/2 & 1/2 to La Paz then solo back to Flagstaff via Sonora by taking the ferry to Guaymas.
I hang out with the kids of the people I met on this trip nowadays !!!

Mostly because I have a CT stem and was trying to match stem and post (for whatever reason), but you're right. I caved and went with a NOS Deore XT.
I'll post some pics when I get it built. Just waiting on a few things before I begin. It's going to be a garage queen, but I have another old school Cannondale M2000 I can ride when the itch hits.

This popped up for sale near me. I'm not interested but if anyone here wants to relive the Yeti dream bike of their youth, I'd be happy to intermediate.
Seller is asking $1200. Full M73x kit with grip shifts, the Manitou will need new MCUs

Given the Shimano sticker and matching stem I would want to see if the insides of the dropouts were relived, making it a "Race" aka team bike
My 1987 FRO had Simplex horizontals R and Campy F's
This one is CO make by the plate DO's
I wish it had a drive side shot so I could see the top tube cable stops - id had cantis originally or at least is routed for them........rigid matching fork I bet too as the stem noodle is redundant with he fork's
$1200 is fair if you sit on it but a few more boutique parts would be nice.
They don't make 'em anymore.......

A wealth of non drive. Apparently he/she couldn't be bothered to turn it around. Definitely a rear canti hanger.
how short do you like your Hyperlites?

Well, the levers don't overlap........
Cool era as you can see things changing, cants to V's and the beginning of suspension, this frame is old enough to have the reinforcement on the DS wishbone CS but not new enough for actual top-pull FD mech
1989-90 maybe into '91 = the frame anyway, parts wish-mash spans years......
