Chameleon looks great. I have been looking into a Honzo as well (as my shop/team carries them). Had a long time friend mentioning the new Specialized Chisel to me yesterday. That frameset looks quite cool for a $750 retail option. Standard bb and 27.2 post a plus.

I would actually prefer a bigger seat post size. All my bikes are 27.2. It really limits the dropper post selection. Plus, no stealth cable routing...

Noted - haven't owned a dropper yet so helps to learn that is a new issue. I was just thinking about how easy it is to get/swap 27.2 posts. That's the thing, there is such an incredible amount of variation now in products/sizes (BBs, Headsets, Boost, Wheels) that is hard to keep track.

Sat on a Chameleon 27.5+ in the LBS today. Man, those 3.0 tires are ginormous. They make 29er 2.3s look...dainty. Need to demo something like this.

I had to learn all this when I updated from a rim brake 26er earlier this year. I started more than a few threads with "Explain ..." in them. An internally routed dropper, unbeknownst to me at the time, is heaven sent and you should angle for one. Worth it!
