Default Any intel on the RS reverb AXS

    Thinking about picking one up

but reverbs donít have that great of a rep

But this one is suppose to be better

But it costs a lot of dough
so I donít want a POS.

I think reverbs get a bad rap...I'm on the fence about the axs dropper for my new Ripley...but it is the cost not the reliability. I've had a reverb with the bike yoke dehy conversion for 2 years with no problems...it is just starting to get a bit sloppy which means there is some air in there...bleeding the new axs is super easy now

I'm using axs otherwise so I really want the post...but it is a bit heavier than the bike yoke revive

Are RS and Magura the only ones making wireless droppers?

I've never had an issue with the tree reverb droppers I've had. Only ever had the second gen ones though.

Parking lot test ride on Reverb AXS left me impressed.
    Got some cash
    Bought some wheels
    Took it out
    'Cross the fields
    Lost Control
    Hit a wall
    But we're alright

so picked up the ripley with the axs seatpost today...the actuation is effortless...same reason i like electronic shifting...no cable tension so the slightest touch actuates the post...doesnt take a lot of effort/weight to drop the post and it rises very quickly

is it worth double the price of a cable actuated dropper? i dunno but it is pretty neat...best part is the super clean build...just 2 hydraulic brake hoses and NOTHING else

after several rides on the axs reverb, i've concluded it is worth the extra money (xx1 eagle axs is great too)

I can echo that. I didnít want to like it but I was really impressed with the function of the post. Easier to actuate than the standard reverbs and the remote is instant with no detectable delay.

I do really, really hate the ergonomics of the axs levers, but it hasnít been an issue for the actual riders of these bikes.
