    Default Nahbs 2017

Anyone going? It's no secret I'm a bike show fan but the last couple years work commitments have superseded my ability to attend NAHBS.

If I can, I'd like to swing up that way for a day, possibly two, but that remains to be seen. It'll be last minute if it happens at all.

Any hot news or rumors from the handmade bike world? That part of this forum has grown quieter the past couple years it seems.

I'm planning on going. Relatively short drive from Tacoma area. Staying with a friend who moved to SLC about 18 months ago. Will be bringing a bike (to ride, not show), though which one is up in the air now. Friend would say MTB (which for me is a single speed -- not the best choice for the area), but it may end up being the groad bike. Taking my wife and young daughter, to make a long weekend of it.

Any word on rides based out of the show?

Yes. I'll be leading rides the mornings of the show. Weather dependent. That time of year
In SLC can be either very nice or buried in snow.

I can't lay any claim to originality on that one. Steal away.
