Don't be silly! It's a bike show, not a camera show!

Any pics of the finished bike?

    You've certainly caught my interest.

    I took two photos.

One of an A-Team themed plumbing truck at the top of the Manayunk Wall, and another of a Bilenky cargo bike that had what I have to assume is the gopher from Caddyshack affixed to the front of it.

I'll post them later. You're welcome.

The only pic I took was of my 3 year old who was captivated by a video of lug brazing. The rest of my morning was spent trying to keep her from playing dominos with the row of vintage bikes. I was lucky if she stopped long enough for me to look at anything, let alone snap pics. I breezed past a lot of things that looked awesome... I wish I could have slowed the pace down a bit.

No pics because it's not a show of show bikes where builders are trying to one up or outdo one another or exceed the excesses of years past. Just good folks showing what they do. It's not a competition at this show.

I enjoyed the whole thing but for me the high points of any event like this are the rides. That's why we have bikes and getting to see new places by bike is always fun. Seeing old friends and making new ones is always a blast too.

That's a wrap for me. I'm back in Virginia Beach and hope to be back next year.

I absolutely LOVE the bike. Tim really did a great job on the frame. The lugwork and details were right on target and the paint from Corby was beautiful. A few quick snaps from the show. I got caught up in getting detail shots that I didn't get any good shots of the full bike. I just got home and it's raining. I'll try to get some other shots of it soon.

Builders posting photos on Instagram today of competitor's work, with highly complementary remarks.
    The atmosphere seemed very collegial.

I'm already planning rides for next year. A bit shorter to get Josh and Boyd back in time to eat a decent breakfast. This one is about 25% gravel: Philly Expo Saturday 2016 in Philadelphia, PA, United States | MapMyRide

The ride time was ok as it turns out my brother. YOU sir are a Prince. The routes were scenic and with the right amount of pain.

Whoever said the atmosphere was collegial is right on the money.

I did and I really enjoyed our short conversation. It was a really nice show and I loved the feel of seeing 'real bikes' instead of showpieces for the most part.

Judging from the pics, a wayback machine with Mr. Peabody to NAHBS #2/3

Would love to have made the scene but a cross-country flight and overnight only makes sense when I am ready to order.

Yes - talked to you very briefly earlier in the day on Saturday, then had a really nice chat with Deb later in the afternoon.

I was excited to see you have some taller team members this year. I'll be keeping an eye out for used 59s...
