    Not true, even I made one. I wanted something superlight for traveling. Mine wouldn't hold up to shop use but all you need to do is attach a length of chain to a lever. I'm sure Garro's would be nicer.

    My whip was purchased in the early 80's. It has a six speed chain attached to it. I've used it all these years up to 11v. It works, good enough. I should replace the chain with a worn 11v one of these days.
