For fear of reprisals, the tool name withheld. It is disappointing when manufacture makes a running change. That has less than satisfactory results. Off topic I use CN-10 almost every day for clean cuts. CNs seem to be very technique dependent. It rewards a quick, firm and perpendicular cut.

Being a working bike mechanic, I regret no tool purchases whatsoever. Even the overkill Campy 11 speed chain riveting tool--somebody else will release the chain that really needs that gadget! I only regret buying cheaper versions of tools that I should have spent more/gotten better ones!

I purchased a Campy tool kit, the one in the nice oak box, and it was complete rubbish. The head tube reaming and facing tool didn't work with my integrated headset. The BB facing tool and tap didn't work with my pf30 BB. The cone wrenches didn't work with my DT 240 hubs. I could go on. The oak box kept us warm for 5 minutes one night in February of '15 when we ran out of firewood.
