Default Raw aluminum exposed around BB due to facing - worry?

New aluminum frame BB was faced after paint. After threading in the bottom bracket (Shimano), there is a small ring of raw aluminum exposed around the bottom bracket, due to larger thickness of tubing, I guess. I'm wondering if this could be an issue as far as corrosion or something like that. Would anyone recommend treating it in some way, or even trying to put a bit of paint on it with a toothpick or small brush so it's not exposed to the elements?

    Thanks for input.

My Tsunami was like that. I wiped a little grease on the BB bracket face then installed the the BB and no issues in the 5 years I owned it.

Nothing to worry about, even if it was steel.
